Singapore second Data Centre Call for Application (DC-CFA2) and provisional allocation
DC-CFA2 launched on 1 December 2025 offering at least 200 MW of data centre capacity. Registration of interest closed 5 December 2025. Requirements included Green Mark for Data Centres 2024 Platinum, design PUE of 1.25 or better at 100% IT load, IT equipment meeting SS 715:2025 and at least 50% of the new capacity powered by eligible green pathways such as biomethane, low-carbon ammonia or hydrogen, fuel cells with carbon capture, or building-integrated PV. On 21 August 2026 EDB and IMDA provisionally allocated 50 MW each to Digital Realty, Equinix, Keppel Data Centres and ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (200 MW total) from more than 20 proposals. The selected data centres will be located on Jurong Island, where JTC is developing a low-carbon data centre park. EDB and IMDA will review the need for another call in 18 to 24 months.
Current status
Allocation is provisional. The allocation (August 2026) came about nine months after the application launch (December 2025). Allocations are not additive to the Green DC Roadmap 300 MW figure.
Who it applies to
New data centre capacity allocation in Singapore. Selected sites on Jurong Island.
Exceptions: Separate Strategic Digital Infrastructure Scheme (SDIS) for uniquely differentiated proposals outside the CFA.
What it means for cooling and power
Four Jurong Island projects with mandated liquid cooling, PUE 1.25 design and at least 50% novel green energy create a concentrated, specification-heavy procurement window in Singapore. Fuel-cell, hydrogen and ammonia-ready power and liquid cooling suppliers are directly relevant. The unit basis of the 50 MW allocations is not stated in the release.
