Privacy notice

What we process

• Briefing signup: your email address is stored with our email provider (Resend) so we can send the briefing you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing hello@coolpowerindex.com.
• Advertising enquiry form: the details you enter are sent by email to our advertising inbox through Resend and kept in our mailbox to answer you. They are not added to any mailing list. To limit abuse we count submissions per connection using a one-way hash of your IP address for a few minutes. The raw IP address is not stored by us.
• Email to our addresses: mail sent to hello@coolpowerindex.com or advertise@coolpowerindex.com is received by Resend and forwarded to a private team mailbox.
• Site analytics: Vercel Web Analytics gives us aggregated page statistics without cookies.
• Advertising counters: sponsored placements count impressions and clicks as totals per placement. No cookies, no personal data and no identifiers in URLs.
• Tools that save in your browser: where offered, the comparison and requirement brief tools save your work only in your own browser (local storage). Nothing you type there is sent to us. Clear it with the tool's clear button or your browser settings.

What we never do

• Sell or share subscriber or enquiry contacts with advertisers.
• Use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
