Microsoft data centres at Hepokorpi (Espoo) and Kolabacken (Kirkkonummi)
Two large Microsoft data centre sites in the Helsinki capital region whose excess heat is to feed the Fortum district heating network. Fortum said in May 2026 that its heat pump plants at both sites had started operating and that heat output will rise as excess heat from the two Microsoft data centres is gradually brought into use. The operating status of the data halls themselves is not stated in the source.
