Microsoft Qatar Central cloud region data centres
Microsoft launched its first Qatar datacenter region on 31 August 2022 with Azure and Microsoft 365, the first hyperscale cloud provider to deliver enterprise services from the country. Sites and capacity are not published. Microsoft cited an IDC study estimating about USD 18 billion in new revenue and over 35,000 jobs for the Qatar economy over four years from Microsoft, its ecosystem and cloud customers.
