Project record, building
Equinix DB7x (Blanchardstown, Dublin)
Equinix began construction of DB7x in Blanchardstown, Dublin, on 20 March 2026, next to two existing Equinix sites. The building covers 1,322 sq m. Equinix states an investment of $78 million in the facility plus $14 million for retail IBX fit-out, with retail capacity due from early 2028. Equinix says the building needs no additional grid power because it uses power already allocated to the existing site, and that it will be 100% flexible to support the national grid.
